Virginia Woolf’s suicide note to her husband Leonard before drowning herself.
On 28 March 1941, Virginia Woolf put on her overcoat, filled its pockets with stones, and walked into the River Ouse near her home and drowned herself. Her body was not found until 18 April 1941. Her husband buried her cremated remains under an elm in the garden of Monk’s House.

I nearly cried reading this… So sad. I wish I couldn’t relate.

I know that I am 17 and all bladi bla but is it still okay for me to use the ‘sorry I don’t talk to strangers’ line so as to avoid talking to people who seem a little bit ‘odd’?

I was walking my neighbor’s dog and this 61 year old man began talking to me. He was very curious’. I just lied about my origins and for some reason he just ‘happened’ to be moving to Washington soon and was supposed to move a month ago but everything got cancelled ( he guessed I was from the US and I just said yes and that my hometown was DC..).

I don’t know, maybe I am just over analyzing this rather peculiar encounter with a retired colonel who apparently fought alongside the US navy but intrinsically I feel as though there is something a little off. He was awfully nice to Sally (the dog I was walking) and I just kept thinking: What if Sally likes him more than me? and then protects him over me if he tries to attack me?

~~SSOOOO dramatic, I know.~~

Blerghhh I am still a little creeped out.
